During your initial consultation we will assess your concerns, begin treatment and develop an ongoing plan if necessary. The appointment will take approximately 30-60 minutes. If you have any recent x-rays or ultrasound results of your feet and/or legs, please bring these with you to your appointment. Repeat imaging studies may be needed but having a baseline study will help with assessment of your case. If you have orthotics please bring them and the shoes you usually wear them in to your appointment.
We accept but not limited to the following Insurance plans.
AETNA, ALLWELL, AMBETTER, AVMED (PHCS), BCBS (most plans), CIGNA (most plans), HUMANA PPO, GEHA, GHI, MEDICARE, PHCS NETWORK PLANS, UNITED HEALTHCARE but not limited to. New plans added monthly.
Generally you do not need a referral to see a podiatrist. However, if your treatment is covered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) or the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program you will need a referral from your GP. You will need to contact Medicare or discuss this with your GP whether you are eligible to receive benefits under this scheme.
Our office accepts Medicare as well as multiple private insurance plans. These plans may change over time so please call our office to confirm we currently take your insurance. We also have a competitive fee-for-service schedule for patients who are uninsured (details can only be discussed in office).
