March is upon us, and chances are the little ones have a week or two at home (for those that are in school) and this may be the perfect time to get them in the office. For this reason, the Podiatry Doctors are providing 10% discounts on all pediatric orthotic and bracing during the month of March!
If your child complains of…
- Inability to play for extended periods with their friends
- Tenderness at the back of the heel
- Cramping in the calf
- Pain along the instep/arch
- Soreness extending into inside of foot and ankle
this may mean they are dealing with musculoskeletal problems that are correctable with the correct adjustments made to their shoe wear.
If conditions permit, an imprint/mold is made of the patient’s foot. This is sent out to an orthotist who fashions the orthotic as directed by the doctor to fit the patient’s exact orthotic requirements. Once the custom orthotics finished, the patient is contacted so they can be picked up in office. Mail delivery is an option as well.
